eTEC E&C Limited., using Shield Tunnel Boring Machine Construction Method, has completed the longest undersea tunnel of 3.24km in Korea.

On 22^nd of November, the ceremony for ‘Completion of undersea tunnel’, ordered by GunJang Energy Co., Ltd. was held at ChangHang factory of Hangsol Paper and it has announced it will start in earnest the work of building energy network between Soryongdong in GunSan City and Hwacheon Ri in Chungnam(Length of 7.24Km)

The undersea tunnel, 35m depth of those Keum River Estuary, diameter 3m and the extension 3.24km, was completed to supply steam and carbon dioxide gas ( CO₂) to Hansol Paper at the same time
