94   eTEC E&C awarded Nakpo Coal Port Project for Kumho Terminal 관리자 2011-01-28 25493
 
 
  eTEC E&C Ltd. (CEO, Changsuk Oh) announced that Nakpo Coal Port Project was awarded
at approximately 100 million USD by Kumho Terminal Operation.
Kumho Terminal Operation, a subsidiary of Kumho Petrochemical Co., Ltd., is the owner of the project
which is located in Yeosu National Industrial Complex. As its completion, logistical competitiveness
for domestic coal end user can be greatly improved.

As a main contractor, eTEC will construct an advanced coal logistic system that will not only provide cutting edge
but also resolve the environmental problems. The duration of this project is 18 months and the project was awarded
as an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) turnkey project that will be based on the advanced silo technology
which will be used very first time in Korea.

eTEC has been accumulating considerable know-how and technology through its subsidiary, Gunjang Energy Co., Ltd.,
a major cogeneration operator in Korea. eTEC built and has been operating Gunjang Energy's power plant
and acquired unloading, storing, and local transporting know-how.

eTEC will expand its new horizon to coal port facilities field based on Nakpo Coal Port Project.
This will be the foundation of winning similar projects in the future.
